Svejkovsky - Swanda Wedding 1922
Quadruplet of Weddings
Christmas tide seems to be displacing June as the time for weddings. At least four of them happened to Yukon folks the past week, as follows:
Svejkovsky - Swanda
Frank A Svejkovsky, our jeweler, made himself a fine Christmas present by getting a jewel of a wife, Miss Allie Swanda. They were married Wednesday December 27, at the home of the bride's
parents, Mr and Mrs James Swanda, south of town. the ceremony was performed at 11 am. Rev WA Steele of the Christian church officiating. Only the immediate relatives of the couple were
present and guests at dinner. The groom is well and favorably known in Yukon and vicinity, having been in the jewelry business here for several years past. They will reside in Yukon. The
Sun extends congratulations and wish the newlyweds a long, prosperous and happy life together.
Selement - Swanda
Mr Frank Selement and Miss Mary Swanda were married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr and Mrs James Swanda, at 11 am Wednesday December 27, Rev WA Steele officiating. The groom is
well known here, and at the present time is electrical engineer at the substation in Oklahoma City.
