Obituary of Norman Reynolds Sr

Attorney Dies In Home Here

Norman E Reynolds sr, 64, longtime attorney in Oklahoma, died Thursday afternoon of cancer in his home at 608 NW 42.

Born in Poplar Bluff, Mo, Reynolds came to Muskogee in 1909 and was president of his graduating class at the University of Oklahoma law school in 1914.

He returned to Muskogee and practiced law there until 1933. In that year he moved to Oklahoma City and became associated with the law firm of Reynolds and Ridings.

Reynolds served in the army during World War I. He was a member of St Paul's Episcopal cathedral, the Oklahoma county and the American Bar association.

He also was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity and the Oklahoma City Golf and County Club.

Services are pending at Street and Draper funeral home. The family requests that no flowers be sent, but that donations be made to the cancer fund at the Oklahoma Research foundation.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Boyd Reynolds, of the hom, and a son, Norman Jr, a member of the state house of representatives from Oklahoma City and a member of the firm of Reynolds and Ridings.
