Peter Clarkson was born about 1660 in Barnacar, Garstang, Lancashire, England. He was married to Elizabeth Hawson on the 15th of April 1683 in Barniker, Lancashire, England.

4. Richard Clarkson, 29 December 1688
5. Ellen Clarkson, 15 February 1691
6. Jane Clarkson, 15 February 1691
7. John Clarkson, 17 Jul 1692
8. Christopher Clarkson, 24 September 1693
9. John Clarkson, 23 September 1694

Peter Clarkson died 5 May 1695 and administrators were named to handle his estate on 27 May 1695; Elizabeth Clarkson of Barniker, widow of Peter Clarkson (x), Christopher Caton of Catterall (signed), John Clarkson of Garstang, carpenter (signed).
