| Notes |
- Various estimations indicate Jane Beall, wife of Archibald Edmonston, was born between 1670 and 1685. Even selecting the date of 1683 would make her only about 15 when her first son, James Edmonston was born in 1698. The birth year of James Edmonston is verified by several documents where he gives his age. Her father Ninian Beall was having dealings with Archibald Edmonston as early as 1704 which included selling various tracts of land to him, and making him the gift of a slave, Moll. Records of Prince George's county Maryland indicate that Archibald Edmonston died in 1734 and Jane Beall Edmonston died in 1748.
