Gerald Estes Hancock married Avanell Lovisa Dwyer on 23 Jun 1935 and resides in St Joseph Missouri. They were the parents of three girls: Mrs Rosalynne D Weldon, Mrs Jancie Reynolds and Lisa Kay Hancock hosted the celebration of the 50th Wedding Anniversary with a reception 23 Jun 1985. Avanell Lovisa Dwyer was the daughter of Orbie Lester Dwyer and Daisy Shutt Jordan. She was born on 23 Oct 1916 and married Gerald E Hancock of Maysville Missouri on 23 Jun 1935. They have three daughters, Mrs Ward (Rosalynne D) Weldon of Glenview Illinois, Mrs Robert (Janice G) Reynolds of Kansas City and Lisa Kay Hancock of the home. They also have seven grandchildren. Avanell has taught piano, voice and organ for many years and has been the Music Director of the 17th Street RLDS Church for years, as well as directing the choir, playing the organ and singing solos.
