Notes |
- Charles M Robinson -or- Charles M Donoho? - Speculative comments from Pam Garrett, April 2016.
Various lists of burials in the Bellevue Presbyterian Cemetery of Washington county Missouri show a Charles M Robinson, with dates 1809-1856. I believe this should actually read Charles M Donoho. I have never seen his tombstone, and I do not know when or why he became listed as Charles M Robinson in the records of Bellevue Cemetery.
The Rootsweb website for Washington County Missouri gives this "conflicting" information:
Robinson, Charles M; 1809 - 1856
Donoho, Charles M; 20 September 1809 - 17 July 1856
A FindAGrave memorial gives this information:
Charles M. Donoho; Birth: Sep. 20, 1809; Jul. 17, 1856; Spouse - Rebecca Trowbridge Whitcomb Donoho (1817 - 1846); Bellevue Presbyterian Cemetery; Caledonia, Washington County, Missouri, USA; created by - Larry G. Flesher (2002); #6185941; note - At FindAGrave there are links to his wife and daughter, both buried in Alabama.
I suspect, but am not certain, that Charles M Donoho is the brother of Mary Mitchell Donoho, the second wife of Archibald Robinson. I have not done any extensive research to verify that. Apparently, his primary home was in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and I do not know why he was buried in Caledonia, Missouri.
In this database, compare the records of Charles Mitchell Donoho, and Charles M Robinson.
